At times the story and artwork are acceptable to good, but in reality I just wanted to get through it to get onto bigger and better things and this fluf was simply in the way.
Admittedly its hard for an author to be in this situation when such a good story is waiting to be told after yours is finished. Unfortunate in a way but reality it is. The scourge attacks and Med'an's parentage is revealed Meryl allows himself to be possessed by a demon to save Valeera. Jun 04, Larper rated it it was amazing.
I'm not a fan of comics but I loved reading this one, simply because it's about Warcraft. The art is beautiful, the story is engaging and concludes well. I don't wish to say more simply because I spoiled myself part of the story by reading about the comic. May 28, Chris rated it really liked it Recommends it for: World of Warcraft, Fantasy.
Beginning the new story arc of Garona and Med'An, this next volume also continues with some of the same characters from the other books. Rise of the Lich King Illidan.

The main problem that I have with these books is that they are completely inconsistent, as if they sacrificed quality over deadlines. If the art is good, the story is god awful, if the story is good, the art hurts my eyes. Theres really no winning here.
Books by Walter Simonson. At the time of its conception, the ongoing comic was set for two story arcs, both six issues each. The stories are kind of forced at points and don't really have the kind of pacing that you would expect from a professional comic, and the artist himself doesn't really seem to understand how to create good sequential art that fluidly tells a story. I believe he is fully involved with Vol. Amazon Second Chance Pass it on, trade it in, give it a second life. Randy Mayor Gabriel Eltaeb. Share your thoughts with other customers.
The stories are kind of forced at points and don't really have the kind of pacing that you would expect from a professional comic, and the artist himself doesn't really seem to understand how to create good sequential art that fluidly tells a story. I bought all three of these books at the same time, and at some points was so confused by what was happening that i would have to read a couple pages over and over again to really figure out what they were trying to impart and i really don't feel like there was enough quality content per book to justify the prices and these books were super discounted , HOWEVER the books did get here super early, and were in great condition when i got them.
So thats like the one good point. One person found this helpful. Just as with the first and second comic in this series i enjoyed it. I think peoples' biggest problem with this series is that they are expecting more then they should. In my opinion this series isn't meant to be an in depth read for normal comic fans, but a fun little visualization of some Warcraft lore. There are various lore websites throughout the internet that can give u the streamlined version.
However, if you want to see it for yourself this is a nice little series to pick up.
