This book made me love vampires. Hard thing to do. But partly because it's not just a vampire book.
It doesn't use the tired tropes or cheesy themes. It's completely new and refreshing. I can't remember the last time I was so mad at an author. I want to know what happens next. I need to know.

This well crafted, exquisitely written story will pull at your heart strings and the jaw dropping cliffhanger ending will leave you begging for more. I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it. All opinions are my own. Now I loved book one, but this one topped that. The stakes are higher now that Solaris and Kaige are separated.
Solaris is breaking her promise and diving into solving the blood mystery and Kaige is facing his brother in the kingdom trials. They are going to find themselves in deeper trouble than they ever thought possible.
I really enjoyed reading about life in the Collective and meeting Solaris's friends. And then the romance! Like my favorite part of this series. I really want a happy ending for these two!! I can't wait to read book three! If you like young adult paranormal romance then I highly recommend this series! There's action, forbidden love and lots of troublesome secrets. Dark Divide is the second book in the Vampire Prophecy series.
