In Generating Texts, Sharon Cadman Seelig tests traditional notions of genre by analyzing parallels between works that confound existing categories.
Seelig pairs three seventeenth-century prose works with three other works, each of a later century. Proceeding from her authors' similarities in method and common sets of assumptions such as concern with process and discovery, time and eternity, or the nature of the self , she uncovers parallels showing that genre is not simply a set of formal features but rather a particular way of seeing the world that grows out of authorial attitude, impulse, and occasion.
She is the author of The Shadow of Eternity: Belief and Structure in Herbert, Vaughan, and Traherne. Would you like to tell us about a lower price? If you are a seller for this product, would you like to suggest updates through seller support?

Sharon Wildey was my mentor and the This is a wonderful read. Sharon Wildey was my mentor and the person that gave the push and strength, and most of all believed in me when i felt so alone. Her words are from the deepest part of her being. All of her writings are a must read, and appreciated by those that do read her writings.
Another excellent product that Sharon has produced to help enlighten people One person found this helpful 2 people found this helpful.
Sharon Ann Wildey has captured in prose the dynamics of emotional hurt and finding inner peace. Anyone who has endured the grips of heart wrenching pain or loss is able to envision themselves on the same journey of healing almost as if you yourself are breathing in the sights and sounds as she describes them. In almost a mystical way, you feel your own pain easing, convincing yourself that you, too, will find a new beginning. One person found this helpful. Wildey has poured her heart out, poetically speaking, in her latest book: Wildey, dealing with the unimaginable pain any parent could live: She moves to Costa Rica for several years.

There she reflects on life and her next step. Wildey is a retired lawyer and retired minister who has a spiritual take on her situation. She merges, like a braid, in this poem her Costa Rican life on the mountain, the loveliness with the sadness and loneliness of being far from loved ones. When she appeared I said to her that perhaps I should learn to play the cello or trumpet; certainly not the tuba or drums and the flute or the violin takes way too much time to learn.
Regardless of the type of challenges you encounter, taking a calm attitude, as Wildey poetically states and comes to a resolution on her next step in life. This book is a good read for parents traveling similar journey, and for those like myself who are not. The Devil' s Dilemma.

That book was transformational for me in its thoughtful and forthright look at the epidemic of grown children abandoning their parents. On the Mountain in the Morning helped me understand another side of the healing process. In Costa Rica, Wildey took the time to reflect on life and prepare herself for the next step - one that she never imagined having to take. This gentle, thoughtful, honest book calmed me as I recognized both similarities and differences in the way abandoned parents face the unimaginable. I highly recommend it for anyone facing a change in the course of their life.
