But she sees him as more of a brother but he won't take no for an answer. As for her relationship with Hunter, Cami can't understand why he won't share his secrets with her and why he can't just stop getting high. She tries to cut him from her life but is finding it difficult. I truly loved this story and the deceptions leading up to Hunter's secrets were very creative and was kinda fun trying to unravel it.

Normally I get pissed off with the build up to the secrets in a story when it becomes this long drawn out convoluted mess. Although, one thing I was upset with, was Hunter keeping things he knew about Clayton from Cami when it was his responsibility and her right to know. Lacey Weatherford's Crush was a clever, dramatic, and cunning story.

It had easy to like characters, both lovely and truly impaired ones. I should mention Russ, Hunter's friend, I really like him and hope he has a part in the next book.

Maybe get his own story eventually? ItsBookishMe Apr 20, First off I have to tell you there is NO hot steamy Sex scenes in this book. This book is basically High School students so that may not be your thing. I however loved this book. It was fast moving and had a lot going on. There were lots of hot steamy make out scenes.

There is a secret that Hunter is keeping and every time I think I know what it is I start second guessing myself. I found myself hoping that things would work out for Cami and Hunter but I knew it was going to blow up and not sure what exactly Hunters secret was would determine if they would make it through. Great ending even know it doesn't give you much how where they go from there but there is another book "Smitten" coming soon. Then you'll start seeing the things you're missing.

Crush while they were filming a movie in Japan. KiTiraShorter Mar 5, I loved this book and the fact that it had dual POVs!

She has to learn to love Teddy all over again, not to mention Ronan, Geth, Matty, and even herself. She has to come to terms with a terrible world and the terrible people in it, and learn the dark side of being in the public eye. What was once a fairy tale, a love story, a romance worthy of being a movie, has morphed into a nightmare, an unending stream of one trauma blending into another. And Teddy, and to a lesser degree the other boys, too, have to deal with the guilt of having brought these people into contact with her.

Birdie has to wake up from the lovely dream which was her life up to this point and deal with the horrible humiliation and publicity of a trial, where even her most private life becomes fodder for the tabloids. The boys, too, have to see their beloved girl through new eyes, and see the real woman she is.

Birdie and Teddy have to be strong in ways they never thought they would, and face reality, maybe for the first time ever, and move forward into it together. Birdie has come such a long way from the shy and introverted young woman who met Geth, Ronan, Matthew, and Teddy on that fateful day in Tokyo so long ago.
