Ireland is expected to experience some of the coldest weather in years with heavy snow and temperatures of -7C. The air is coming from Siberia in Russia so is being given the name of a beast due to where it comes from and how powerful it is.
The coldest weather is in the far eastern region with temperatures as much as 10C colder than the average for this time of year. Closer to home however France is experiencing "remarkable" weather compared to usual temperatures.
The Meteo Office in France said: Temperatures have already began to drop but the worst of the weather will start on Monday night and in particular Tuesday.
