So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Rejoicing when things are going well is easy!
It might not be easy the first time but God wants you to rejoice and keep rejoicing. God wants you to bring your troubles to him through prayer He wants you to praise him through the storms. He does not want you to walk around sorrowful, downhearted, gloomy, unhappy or heartbroken. God wants you to be filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy! Your inner joy is such a powerful tool.

Why is it important to maintain our joy? It is those who have enough but not too much who are the happiest. Happiness shared is the flower.
It flows spontaneously, like a mountain spring after April showers, in minds that are contented with simple living. It must be watered daily with giving thoughts and actions. No reward coming after the event can compare with the sweet reward that went with it. Play is anything we do for the joy and love of doing it, apart from any profit, compulsion, or sense of duty.
It is the real joy of living.
I feel good because I'm alive! Life is a gift, and I revel in it. Happiness is the key to success.
